Easyglaze is a two part glazing system that provides heat and noise insulation using 2mm thick plastic glazing sheet. The base section comes with adhesive tape applied and is stuck to the window surround. The glazing sheet is placed within this frame and a protective cover strip then clips into place to hold the sheet securely and provide a thermal seal. The Easyglaze lengths can be easily mitred, using the supplied mitre bead, for a neat overall finish, and glass is not suitable for use with this product because of the danger of breakage when fitting the cover strips.
Installation of Easyglaze is quite straightforward, using normal household tools, and following the instructions in the video above or in the printable PDF on this page. Remember to prepare the window surround with alcohol wipes for maximum adhesion of the double sided tape.
Easyglaze covers can be removed to enable access to the outer window, although it is designed for permanent installation.
