SecondaryDIYGlazing.com is a division of Tubeway Sales (Ltd), set up by Tubeway in 2012 to offer cut to size plastic sheet alongside the range of Cost Effective Secondary Glazing systems sold under the Easyfix® DIY brand. Tubeway Sales was established in 1957 with the Easyfix® DIY brand closely following, since that period we have supplied these products into the Independent Retail sector and beyond.

At heart, Tubeway are Extrusion Manufacturers and manufacture many of the plastic profiles used within the various types of Secondary Glazing systems, ranging from Screw Down, Stick Down, Magnetic and Sliding.

One of the very first ranges added to the Easyfix® brand was Clipglaze, a flexible plastic capping used to edge glass or plastic sheet. The soft nature of the PVC allows for a friction fit against the window frame with the sheet and plastic edging being kept in place by turn button screws.

As our experience grew we enhanced our product offering to include rigid plastic profiles that edged the sheet whilst maintaining the thermal seal required for Secondary Glazing. These developments led to the introduction of Easyglaze (Stick Down System) and Superglaze (Screw down System)

The Magnetic glazing range followed after these and remains one of the most popular install types today due to the ease of fittingand use. Suitable for windows that require ventilation on the outer window, alongside the ease of removing the Secondary Glazing in the summer, makes the magnetic range of secondary glazing a versatile year round solution.

The last addition to the range are the Sliding options. For most 2/3 pane casement windows, Trackglaze Horizontal is a great solution, allowing easy access to the outer window for ventilation purposes. Whilst the panes are removable, Trackglaze tends to offer a fixed solution with the system stuck to the window recess using a strong self-adhesive foam.
Secondary glazing for Sash windows is a huge need and with our Trackglaze Vertical Kit we’ve successfully converted our horizontal sliding system to accommodate a vertical sliding solution. The flexible kits enable sash windows of any make up, whether a 50/50 equal divide or 60/40, our measuring instruction provide simple guidance on how to mimic the looks of your existing Sash.
